David-Muir

David Muir (born August 25 1948) is an American journalist anchor and reporter. Most well-known is for World News Tonight. His show with its dramatic clips of celebrity gossip on video and animated movements is now the most watched news program in America. The anchor is also famous for the Emmy-nominated show Made In America. Before taking on ABC World News Tonight, he served as the primary alternative to his predecessor Diane Sawyer. The primetime newscasts on ABC News include Breaking Point: Heroin in America, Flashpoint Refugees and America. The reporter has covered stories from all over the globe, including in Gaza Egypt Iran Somalia Japan Peru Ukraine Haiti. He has won numerous Emmy Awards Edward R. Murrow Awards, as well as recognition at the Associated Press.
