Hayley orrantia was born in the United States. Her main focus is actress, but also a songwriter and singer. A lot of people recognize her from her character as Erica Goldberg on the popular comedy television series 'The Goldbergs.' Even though she sings, her primary passion is music. Music, according to her, is the very first thing she loves. She started playing with it at age nine. At the age of 12 the world of music had become significant enough that she was able to pursue a career in music. Following a few attempts at songwriting, she only recorded the album with covers at the age of 14. The music has never stopped since then. Orrantia was born in the USA but holds Hispanic origins. Although she spoke only English throughout her childhood and never visited Mexico Orrantia feels extremely happy with her Hispanic heritage. In order to preserve her heritage she's learning Spanish. Also, she writes songs based on the Spanish language. "Hasta Verte" which is a song with Spanish lyrics that she's recorded can be a perfect illustration. Orrantia was chosen to be an audition for the first season, which aired in summer the year 2011. Orrantia took home the very first season of The X Factor following the submission of a YouTube recording of her audition. The judge gave her an impressive four "yes" votes by the judge on the live stage audition in Seattle. She initially auditioned to be a part of "Hollywood Week" as a solo artist. Three other female vocalists as well as her were brought together for auditions of the rest of her music. The group was eliminated at the fifth week during the live show.
